13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. 14 But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?” 15 Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented. 16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:13-17 NIV

Well....speaking of birds.....I had missed all of these bird posts! He is showing me what I love and to get on the porch...in spite of the mosquitoes! ha....I have a nest of doves at my new house right above where I park....I am constantly picking up feathers lately....I am praying for lots of birds to come to my new spot! I put up a squirrel proof feeder out of one window and wait for them to come....Thank you for the birds and the WORD you put with them...so appropriate and loved!!
ReplyDeleteSherry,
DeleteIt's hard to spend time on the porch with all those mosquitoes... with the West Nile going around. They originally thot mama was stricken with it...and I'm still not certain that she wasn't. So take care...but do enjoy the birds at every chance. I miss them so much. In AR I had so many.... so many pictures I've yet to post from my time in the wilderness there. I have hung feeders here but so far only the squirrel has been enticed.
Pretty cool that you have another nest - even at your new place. God is smiling on you. you are a safe place to call HOME :)
Miss you, friend

ReplyDeleteJust discovered you here today. So glad I did.
ReplyDeletePatrina,
ReplyDeleteI love birds and these pics are beautiful. We usually get about five or six collared doves coming onto the bird table in our back garden to feed. I leave seed for them there, and for the other birds.
Those birdy pictures are beautiful
ReplyDeletethanks 'all' for visiting. I take pictures everyday....but never get them transferred to this place....I can only HOPE to do better :) I do appreciate the fact that you found me.
